Internship Search
Currently I am in the internship search process. In order to graduate in my major my last semester in school has to be an internship. Depending on many more credits I need will determine how many hours I have to work. Although there are no requirements on where and what type of agency, my first priority is to find one near my home in the western suburbs of Chicago. I have already done the first initial contact with two hospitals to see if there are positions that is related/simlilar to my major, which is community public health. With that major I hope to do wellness programs and health promotion in a hospital setting.

I didn't know that some degree's required you to have an intern before graduation. That was new to me. Sounds like you are heading down the right road on finding and figuring out what you want to do. I can say that i'm a big expert when it comes to these things so I really don't have any great advise other than go with what feels right when looking at a job.
That seems like it would be an interesting career to have. Well good luck on finding an internship i nyour choosen career.
